Lucky Programme Prize Winners
Oops! Amidst all of the excitment at the end of proceedings yesterday, we omitted to announce the winners of the lucky programme competition. Each programme had a number endorsed at the top left hand corner under the "race card" tag. The holders of programmes numbered 30, 76 and 141 have been drawn as the winners.
Tickets for a family of four for free entry (worth £36) to selected meetings at Knockhill racing circuit in Fife await the holders of those programmes. To claim the prizes, would the holders of the programme please send it in to the Secretary who will return it first class post along with the prize tickets? Darrin Scott wins inaugural Pitreavie Gift
TLJT runner Darrin Scott (9m) took first place in the final of the first Pitreavie Gift at just after 4.30pm yesterday. He had won Heat 4 in the morning (10.87 secs) and was one of the six fastest heat winners seeded for the cross ties. As only cross tie winners were going through to the final, he had to pull out all the stops to ensure qualification. He did so as indeed did all of the six seeded runners who all went to the final.

Race Handicaps
A full list of handicap marks for all events is now listed along with the draw for the Open 100 metres Gift. Please click on the links below for the information required.
RULES FOR THE DRAW FOR THE PITREAVIE GIFT
- There will be 18 heats of the Gift. The 18 backmarkers will be seeded so that the ultimate backmarker will be placed into lane 1 in heat 1, the next backmarker in lane 1 in heat 2 and so on until the 18th backmarker would be allocated lane 1 in heat 18.
- The next 90 runners will be drawn by open draw, allocating each group of five runners to the next available heat.
- The runners will be allocated their lanes in strict handicap order so that the backmarker will always be in lane 1, the front marker in lane 6 and the remaining 4 runners allocated lanes 2 to 5 in ascending handicap order.
- There are 10 reserve runners. All runners will be able to run on the day and will be allocated a heat immediately after the closing of the declarations on the morning of the event.
- The first two runners in each heat will qualify for the cross-ties.
- There will be 6 cross-ties of six runners each. The 6 fastest heat winners will be seeded in the cross ties so that the fastest heat winner will be allocated to cross-tie 1, the next fastest to cross-tie 2 and so on until the 6th fastest will be allocated to cross-tie 6.
- The remaining 30 runners will be drawn by open public draw held after the running of the heats, the first 5 being allocated to cross-tie 1 with their lanes all being allocated in strict handicap order as in paragraph 3, the next 5 to cross-tie number 2 and so on until all six cross-ties have been filled.
- The winner of each cross- tie will qualify for the final.
- In the final, runners will be allocated their lanes in strict handicap order with the lowest handicapped runner qualifying for the final being allocated to lane 1 and thereafter as in paragraph 3 with the front marker being allocated to lane 6.
